TKS 51 An Evening of Legacy, Elegance, and Enduring Influence

Early this year, within the refined elegance of the Garden Suite at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, TKS celebrated its 51st anniversary with a soirée that was as meaningful as it was magnificent. Just one year after its golden jubilee, the occasion gathered an intimate circle of distinguished guests, all welcomed by Madam Beverly Tan, visionary, founder, and custodian of a legacy that has gracefully spanned generations. The story of TKS begins with a name: Tan Khuan Seng. It was his daughter, Madam Tan, who transformed that name into a living legacy. Her first venture a Chinese language school dedicated to children facing challenges in learning Mandarin was rooted in purpose. From there, her vision expanded. In 2006, she introduced Mrs. International World, a platform that would evolve into what is now known as Mrs. International TKS—a globally recognized pageant entering its 20th year in the industry. Yet, beyond the crowns and titles lies something far more profound. “This celebration,” Madam Tan shared, “is about gratitude.” A tribute to the sponsors, collaborators, and advocates who have supported TKS’s philanthropic journey through the years. The evening also marked the official launch of the 19th edition of Mrs. International 2026, signaling the return of an international stage where women gather not only in beauty, but in purpose. A platform created by women, for women anchored in empowerment, service, and global connection.
