To end 2018, Kiss The Monkeys | Kiss The Mermaids December Charity Event cemented their presence in the fashion world featuring designers, Tommy Le of TeeJay Couture and KiKi Wang at the historical Wattles Mansion in Hollywood. The Charity Event benefitted Divine Homeless Project and presented a new feature to KTM Fashion Events, UNLEESHED.

UNLEESHED, (with an intentional tweak in spelling), is a Fashion Models\Designers Competition. The competition presents an opportunity for up-andcoming models and designers to display their talents sharing the runway with fashion greats and in front of a captive audience. The panel of judges included Tracy James (original Male Supermodel), Bobbie Chance (Acting Coach To The Stars), Caya Hefner (Model/ Influencer of the Hefner Dynasty), and David Harrison Levi (Honorary Mayor of Beverly Hills) who were among many of the celebrities that attended. Other famous people like Bonnie Pointer (headline singer), Kentaro Kameyama (Project Runway Winner) and Lika Osipova (Founder of Miss Russia LA, Reality Superstar, and Influencer) attracted media from all over the world such as Vietnam, Germany, China and Russia.

Kelsey Lee was the winner of KTM’s UNLEESHED Model of The Year. Kelsey is no stranger to the Kiss The Monkeys | Kiss The Mermaids community. Founders Alex Harris and RaQuel Sanchez originally met her at Bobbie Chance’s Hollywood Actor’s Studio. Since seeing her undeniable talent, Kelsey has been a staple at KTM Events as a guest and model.

Kelsey writes:

The passion I have for being in front of the camera, and walking the runway has been burning like fire within my heart ever since I was little. When I was first introduced to acting as a kid I started with little home movies where I played a variety of different characters from Cinderella to my dog, and when I got a little older I started in modeling, where I walked the runway in the American Girl fashion show styled as “Caroline”, and since then I have modeled for many great stylists including: Kiki Wang, Tommy Lee, Jovani Terani, Sherri Hill, and many more phenomenal designers that all have such unique and beautiful designs. So, these experiences as well being in multiple theater shows ranging from “A year with Frog and Toad” to “Thoroughly Modern Millie” led me to landing my starring role in front of the camera in the film “A Turn in the Sun” when I was just 12 years old. As soon as I finished filming, I was hooked, and since then I have been a part of many more shows and films. I could not be any more thankful for my family because they really supported my career, and when it led me to L.A. they stood right there behind me every step of the way as they continue to do today, and I couldn’t be any more grateful. I believe that it was fate that brought me to finding certain people in the business, that really saw the drive and the love for what I do in both acting and modeling that they took a chance on me, and I could not be any more grateful for them as well. And I can’t wait to see where my career takes me next… an Oscar perhaps?

I am so honored to be voted as Model Of The Year at the Kiss The Monkeys UNLEESHED Holiday Benefit Event. I am humbled at how many lives that Kiss The Monkeys | Kiss The Mermaids touch with their benefits and amazed at how RaQuel Sanchez and Alex Harris provide a platform for their members to share and perform their talents to help others.
