DUBAI FASHION WEEK Autumn/Winder 25/26: Rewind

By Naiia Lajoie Photos by Dubai Fashion Week   Before Paris, Milan, New York, and London’s Fashion Weeks, the most populous city of the United Arab Emirates hosted its Fashion Week. This year, Dubai Fashion Week held its Autumn/Winter 2025/26 showcase from February 1st through the 6th, leading the international fashion season. The event boasted shows from over 25 established and emerging designers, hailing from France, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, Turkey, naturally the UAE, and for the first time, Australia. We were fortunate enough to have our own correspondent, Khoa Vo, present and taking in the sights of the city known for its avant-garde architecture, such as luxury hotels like Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal, as well as its skyscraper-filled skyline including the famed Burj Khalifa. No stranger to attending the fashion scene of Los Angeles, Khoa boarded his Emirates Airline flight at the end of January bound for Dubai, destined for Dubai Fashion Week. New to the city, he also wanted to appreciate its modern aesthetics, beachfront, and nightlife for himself. Coming from LA, the most notable difference right off the bat is the cleanliness of the space; with zero homeless and not a single piece of trash on the ground, Dubai is a far cry from downtown Los Angeles. “Dubai is like 10 years ahead of the US,” Khoa notes, referencing not only the infrastructure but also the city’s technology. He also shares that its hospitality workers, primarily comprised of Pakistani, Indian, and Filipino nationals, were incredibly friendly toward guests.
