High Fashion meets Fine Art. On March 8th, International Women’s Day, a day set aside to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political triumphs of women, the Orange County Fashion Week finale show was held at the Markowicz Fine Art Gallery and was a noteworthy occasion. The brilliant Kathryn Marino, president of OC Fashion Week, is in charge of the event and, in her 10th year anniversary, did a fantastic job organizing the fashion show. Five-star chefs from Cheferbly prepared hors d’oeuvres after the runway show ended on Wednesday, March 8th. It felt formal as you approached the art gallery entrance and saw the red carpet laid out with the velvet ropes and the sponsored wall backdrop. John, a security guard, was there making sure everything was secure. The people loved the red carpet. It was a scene. Day five of Orange County Fashion Week was the last day. As I came into the venue earlier as press and walked in, the music was blaring. The excitement and anticipation filled the air. The unique seating arrangement wrapped around the art gallery, which also had exclusive VIP seating. The Cheferbly cooks were meticulously preparing elegant hors d’oeuvres for serving, following the fashion presentation as you step outdoors into the courtyard. The people worked hard. There were five standout designers: Magnlens, Fodada, Nina Cicolo, The Label Official, and Ippoliti. Elevate your fashion with these brands!
