Travel Dine In Style by Grace Aguilar   Yamashiro, a “Mountain Palace”, has been sitting atop the Hollywood Hills since 1914. The restaurant serves Asian inspired cuisine, with specialty cocktails and breathtaking views of Los Angeles. It serves a contemporary Japanese cuisine by two amazing chefs: Executive Chef Jaehee Lee and Executive Sushi Chef Eijiro. The restaurant has a new menu and revamped specialty cocktail program. Sushi and Asian fare dishes are served either indoor or outdoor around gardens and koi ponds. Another great addition to the business is Yama Shisha, a hookah lounge which is located below the steps of the restaurant, or behind the Golden Buddha. Some people that are not familiar with the history of Yamashiro, and surprisingly have not visited the restaurant. I highly recommend that you put this on your bucket list when you’re in LA next – you...... Read more on Full Issue!
