AND A MONUMENTAL BOOK LAUNCH Original words by Lydia F. Soriano, published in the Philippine Post Edited by: Naiia Lajoie There have recently been several events scheduled within LA County, all of them competing for high attendance numbers and support from Southern California residents. The resource speakers were Tamar Sadd; the Deputy Director, staff member Jessica Sadd, and presenter Mania Awakian. In this 3-in-1 event (so to speak), the FABAG also hosted the first book launch of Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan from the Philippines. After the workshops, a reception followed. The attendees and special guests included State Senator Anthony Portantino, Glendale Mayor Elen Astryan, Philippine Vice Consul Ralph Jacob COMMUNITY A MONUMENT’S CELEBRATION AND A MONUMENTAL BOOK LAUNCH Villoria, Amanda Faissel from the Office of Assemblymember Laura Friedman, Councilmember Ardy Kassakhian, FACLA......
