ON AND OFF THE RED CARPET

I have followed the career of Kenneth and I have seen him
grow by leaps and bounds, being more daring, more creative,
more wonderful. His recent show at the Los Angeles Fashion
Week attests to that. His men’s creations was just mind
blowing. It was just like somebody cleaned my glasses and
everything became brighter and more colorful. I could easily
even want to wear them myself!

Kenneth talks about his inspiration for his KB Collection
Spring-Summer 2019. He said, “It is inspired from the
psychedelic love, colors and harmony. I love playing with
colors and textures all in one. I believe that men’s wear should
not stop from the traditional black, and gray suit. I wanted to
explore and push every button I can to create a new lifestyle
for men. I wanted them to enjoy dressing up as well.”

Surely, your husband or boyfriend won’t look like any other
drab guy in a monochromatic black or gray suit. Wearing one
of Kenneth’s suits brings out the joy and fun in dressing up.
And men should also enjoy that!
As for his women’s collection, Kenneth explained, “For the
women, I created a modern KB look and gave a very sexy
touch to it. High slits and no lining look for this season is my
big thing. I wanted to show off the women’s figures by adding
allure and glamour using those nude soft tulles.”

Stressing the femininity and natural look of women is
definitely Kenneth’s message in this collection.

The showstopper of the night is a six-year-old girl, who
happens to be Kenneth’s niece, who also modeled for
Kenneth and was even his finale model. The little girl has
the right model attitude and definitely will go places like his
uncle Kenneth! Looking forward to Kenneth’s next show
and bravo to this millennial who is showing us what the
future will look like. n
