Francisco-based fashion
designer and creative
artist Tuan Tran’s Summer
Collection. The Ao Dai
is comprised of hand-
painted silk and represents
Vietnam’s summer season.
It is artistically-dotted with
royal Poinciana embroidery;
a tropical flower that only
blossoms during the summer
in Vietnam. Tran’s work is
exclusively one of a kind;
each piece is custom-
designed to fit the occasion
and environment. For
example, this Ao Dai was
designed specifically for a
performance wherein Bichlien
sings a love song. Tran has
been featured at many
fashion shows, locally in San
Francisco and internationally.
