Viet Fashion Week is not like other destination Fashion Weeks, but a cultural and artistic event promoting Vietnamese designers worldwide. After their launch in 2013, Viet Fashion Week has established a name and reputation for providing a platform for Vietnamese designers. The mission is to be able to show the world the talents and creativity of Vietnamese designers while incorporating entertainment, arts, and culture. 2018, being their 5th year, Viet Fashion Week returned to Westminster Mall in the heart of Little Saigon but with a larger more magnificent outdoor venue. This year, Viet Fashion Week hosted local celebrity designers Calvin Hiep and Jacky Tai, emerging designers Trang Bui, Angela Nguyen, Uni & Ellie Nguyen, and Connecticut designer Annie Nguyen.
