Pol’ Atteu & Patrik Simpson GOWN & OUT IN Beverly Hills This year has seen a lot of loss and sadness for us; with the deaths of Patrik’s mother Barbara, and sister Dawnathena within a short span of 3 months. So we decided to escape to the mountains of Costa Rica to recharge, rejuvenate, and re-center at LANDS IN LOVE. This all-vegan resort is nestled 2000 feet above and deep inside the jungle of the San Lorenzo Cloud Forest. Officially called the Republic of Costa Rica, it is a country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the northeast, Panama to the southeast, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. It’s strikingly diverse terrain of lush forests, wildlife reserves, hot springs, and tropical beaches, offers a little something for every traveler and makes it a go-to destination hot-spot for everyone. We hosted our friends to celebrate Patrik’s birthday with an entire agenda-filled week of extreme outdoor activities that would make any adrenaline rush junkie jealous. The hotel and resort, LANDS IN LOVE, has a unique back-story and special mission that has made it a must visit destination for international and local tourists. Assaf Shlosberg, along with his intimate group of friends from Tel Aviv, Israel, came to Costa Rica to pursue their dreams of creating a dog and cat rescue and found the perfect place in San Ramon, Alajuela to make that dream a reality.
