Miss Cultural World 2017: A Celebration of Culture and Diversity

It was the day when seven candidates competed against each other by performing their special talents and representing their cultures. The judges were ten highly respectable individuals namely, East Grinstead Councilor, Danny Favor; Mister Body Beautiful 2017, Jules Chan; Photographer, Joefrey Gaerlan; Make up Artist, Shahzadi H Lohar; Ronnie Del Barrio, from Lahing Kayumanggi; Ali Hajj, of AA World Travellers and Tours; Jewel Natividad, of Casilleras; Paulo Tressman, of Terry Beauty Salon; Josephine Tulean, and, Sir Michael Rothery, of Knights of Rizal. This is a competition which aims to promote various cultures in celebration of diversity related to one of TCC’s charity objectives, the preservation of culture, arts and heritage. TCC had at least 7 candidates namely, Janice Suarez - representing Cebu, Philippines, Rachel Araujo and Feliza Vaz, both representing India, Gretchen Fedcheck and Pinky Baido from Mt. Province, Philippines, Kysha Biroczki representing Manila, Philippines and Sisa Senkosi representing Zimbabwe. Each candidate was required to wear a casual dress and a cultural attire. They also competed against each other with their talent and a question and answer portion asked by the judges. At the end of the show Kysha Biroczki bagged the Ms. Cultural 2017 title, followed by 1st runner up Sisa Senkosi and 2nd runner up Pinky Baido. Ms. Charity and Darling of the crowd went to Pinky Baido, Ms. Talent went to Sisa Senkosi and Ms popularity and Ms. Photogenic went to Feliza Vaz. The event was also graced by the Wirral group that came all the way from Liverpool which performed an Igorot Dance number during the opening ceremony. TCC Divas Ela Hidalgo, Jo ‘Alexa’ Taag, Manel Sinfield and Grace Quinto gladly performed for the audience before and during the event with the SPMA Best Band of the year 2016 and 2017,......
