LA first Church of Nazarene Anniversary

This is to inform and invite everyone to the LA First Filipino Church of the Nazarene which will be celebrating its 34th year church anniversary from October 6 to 7, 2018 at 3401 West 3rd St., Los Angeles, CA. The theme of the anniversary will focus on “God’s Call” based on John 10:27 -- “My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me.” The invited guest speaker is Rev. Greg Garman, the District Superintendent of the Los Angeles District of the Church of the Nazarene who will speak about this very important topic during the worship celebration on October 7, Sunday at 3PM. Time will be set aside for people to be prayed for and to make a commitment to Christ. Also invited for the special worship celebration is their guest singer, Felson Palad, a very talented composer and recording artist who produced an album titled, “In the Palm of His Hands.” He will sing to inspire with several song numbers that will be spiritually uplifting as he draws the audience towards the unconditional love of Christ in spite of sins. The event will be free to the public on a first come first served basis. Folks are asked to bring their friends along. The vision of the LA First Filipino Church is to see people’s lives saved, changed and transformed by the power of God’s Word preached regularly, clearly and powerfully. The church is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene organized on October 8, 1908 in Pilot Point, Texas and with headquarters in Kansas City. The Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the Wesleyan-Armenian theological tradition that believes in the second work of grace or entire sanctification.
