In accordance to protocol during this time of the pandemic, Club Bulakeño recently inducted its new set of officers virtually via Zoom for its 33rd term encompassing the years 2021-2023. Despite the threat of these difficult times, Club Bulakeño will continue to support the province of Bulacan through educational assistance to deserving students of the Bulacan State University, as well as provide assistance to the needy from the different provinces of Bulacan. To lead the new dynamic group of officers is Presidents Baby D. Tan and Peter Paul Baustista; two of the club members who are well known leaders in various socio-civic organizations. The guest speaker – former Deputy House Speaker and present of Mecauayan, Bulacan – Mayor Linabelle Ruth R. Villarica led the swearing in of the new set of officers. These included Executive Vice Presidents; Emmy Gonzales and Frank Adriano, 1st Vice Presidents; Dennis Belmonte and jeweller Mila Imson, Ways and Means Chair; Dr. Nona S. Ricafort, Treasurer and Foundress; Lydia A. Reyes, Public Relations Officers; Dr. Mildred Vitangcol and Chuck T. Gueco, Membership Head; Prescy Yulo, Auditors; Cynthia Reyes and York Vitangcol, and Secretary; Gerard L. Ramirez. Along with them were the newly appointed Board of Advisers; Rustan’s Nedy Tantoco, Ofelia Trinidad, and Past Presidents; Atty. Jimmy Buhain, Milo Bondoc, Atty. Jonas Cabochan, Virma Vergel De Dios, and Jay Jay Ponce Gonzalez. Immediately after the induction, past President and Adviser Milo Bondoc formally launched the club’s next project; a coffee table book entitled “BULACAN: Makasaysayang Lalawigan at CLUB BULAKENO: Samahang Bayanihan”.
